Job Description

  • Project supervision and coordination with other engineering and architecture departments within the firm.
  • Preparation of construction drawings and specifications for public and private bidding.
  • Direct communication and follow up with clients in support and coordination of all project related activities.
  • Technical leadership, production and scheduling, quality control and cost proposals.
  • Responsible for the on-time, on budget and high quality technical delivery of all project requirements.
  • Management/Supervision of junior level staff.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education / Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer license preferred.  
  • Minimum 10 years HVAC design experience with at least 5 years of project management experience in a consulting firm or related environment.
  • Experience with local municipalities, government agencies a plus.
  • Must have demonstrated technical leadership experience; ability to work with other disciplines and clients to provide solutions and meet overall project expectations. 
  • Oversee all aspects of mechanical design projects; directing/guiding staff as needed.
  • Ability to mentor/supervise junior level staff.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
