Job Description
H2M is actively seeking an Electrical Engineer in our MEP Discipline to support our growth in a variety of market sectors who will be responsible for:
- Project design and development responsibilities, including but not limited to drawings, calculations, cost estimates, and specifications related specifically to public and commercial building types
- Overall design of electrical systems such as power distribution, lighting and fire alarm
- Project coordination with other engineering and architecture departments
- Manager various client relationships and provide solutions to ensure successful project completion
- Construction administration including attending project meetings, reviewing contractor submittals and providing clarifications when required
- Prior experience engaging and mentoring junior staff; must be a team player
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Education / Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program
- 5+ years of experience with a consulting engineering firm designing power, distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems
- EIT, PE preferred
- High level of technical performance with strong work ethic
- Ability to work productively and cooperatively with team members and clients
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and Easy Power desired
- Experience with IT infrastructure and network communications a plus.

NJ/NY PE highly desirable
