Job Description

H2M is actively seeking an Electrical Engineer in our MEP Discipline to support our growth in a variety of market sectors who will be responsible for:

• Project design and development responsibilities, including but not limited to drawings, calculations, cost estimates, and specifications related specifically to public and commercial building types
• Overall design of electrical systems such as power distribution, lighting and fire alarm
• Project coordination with other engineering and architecture departments 
• Manager various client relationships and provide solutions to ensure successful project completion
• Construction administration including attending project meetings, reviewing contractor submittals and providing clarifications when required
• Prior experience engaging and mentoring junior staff; must be a team player
• Other responsibilities as assigned

Education / Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program
• 5+ years of experience with a consulting engineering firm designing power, distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems
• EIT, PE preferred
• High level of technical performance with strong work ethic
• Ability to work productively and cooperatively with team members and clients
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and Easy Power desired
• Experience with IT infrastructure and network communications a plus.
