Title:  Residential Weatherization Technician

Job Description

The role of the Residential Weatherization Technician is to: 

• support the completion of program related services to the sites to which they are assigned.   
• perform field service delivery functions in support of program objectives, including
• measures installation
• site pressure diagnostics
• site combustion safety testing
• field related customer service
• delivery of customer education
• coordination of work performed with the Program Coordinator
• ensure on-site quality, troubleshooting where directed.  

Job Responsibilities

• must work cooperatively with the Team to deliver program services in a timely, efficient, and thorough manner 
• the Field Weatherization Technician will be held accountable for timeliness, thoroughness, quality, and customer satisfaction of all sites to which they provide services as well as their personal productivity
• the Field Technician reports to, and is responsible to carry out the instructions and directions of the Program Coordinator 
• the Field Weatherization Technician’s primary responsibility is to complete installation of program measures and complete delivery of appropriate services to the sites assigned to them
• complete the work plan in a fashion to meet program productivity and quality objectives
• document all work performed including thorough site diagnostics, installation barriers, and energy savings measures installed
• communicate with the Team as needed to complete work plan as documented

Qualifications

Relevant Experience

• minimum 1 years’ experience implementing weatherization measures preferred
• high school degree, or equivalent 
• BPI certification preferred
• Customer service experience preferred
