The Energy Efficiency Program Community Development Outreach Professional will be responsible for engagement and relationship management of the participating contractors and trade allies of the energy efficiency rebate program. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service and relationship management skills, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for promoting energy efficiency initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
• Engage with contractors and Trade Allies, fostering relationships through recruitment, training, and education to promote program marketing effectively.
• Formulate strategies for outreach to aid in the recruitment of customers and trade allies.
• Acquire an in-depth understanding of the business customer base.
• Incorporate program offerings into customer operations to enhance service and satisfaction.
• Execute event planning, coordination, and program presentations.
• Act as a liaison between customers and contractors to boost program satisfaction.
• Collaborate with other energy efficiency programs to advance projects and follow up on leads.
• Lead market research efforts, gathering business data and identifying key allies for program targeting.
• Establish a network of Trade Allies specific to the programs.
• Detect barriers to improvement and relay this information to the Program Manager.
• Promote the continuous enhancement of operations.
• Compile comprehensive weekly, monthly, and quarterly activity reports, tracking progress towards program goals.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of relative industry experience
• Ability to accomplish organization objectives by organizing and monitoring work processes
• Proficiency in MS Office, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Salesforce
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Multi-lingual preferred, especially ability to speak Spanish
• Valid Drivers license

Work Environment

This position will require travel within the PSEG territory to engage participating contractors and trade allies, along with travel attend training sessions, meetings, or site visits.
