Job Description

Oxford Energy is looking for full time Weatherization Technicians to join our New Jersey residential team!

Work Location: Multiple Locations

• Paid Time Off (PTO) package.
• 401k plan available; 100% employer match, up to 6% of your gross income.
• Hourly wage: $20.00 to $30.00 /hour, Paid Overtime, Paid Travel.
• Call for initial phone interview.

Job Responsibilities

• Travel to and from job sites using company vehicles.
• Preparation and clean-up of project sites.
• Perform work in attics, basements, and crawl spaces installing Home Performance weatherization items including: Air Sealing, Insulation (cellulose, fiberglass, spray foam, rigid board, etc.)
• , and health & safety items like properly venting dryers, bathroom exhaust fans, installing carbon monoxide detectors, and capping recessed lights.
• Perform work in physically demanding and challenging environments, while maintaining focus and attention to detail.
• Temperature extremes are often present, including both very hot and very cold.
• We will provide all safety equipment for employee to work safely and effectively.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in weatherization and/or insulation, 1 year of experience in building trades, carpentry, framing, plumbing, retrofits preferred.
• Ability to pass a background and drug test.
• Must have valid NJ or PA driver s license and reliable transportation.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Regularly and occasionally 75+ lbs.
• Must be able to work safely and effectively in extreme temperatures and conditions.
• Must be able to work safely and effectively in tight and confined spaces.

Relevant Experience

At least 3 years of experience in weatherization and/or insulation, 1 year of experience in building trades, carpentry, framing, plumbing, retrofits preferred.
